About ROST
I am a Ukrainian author, illustrator, caricaturist, and satirist. My alias and pseudonym is ROST, and my nickname is TooLongCat.
I am a professional biologist who explores the boundaries of grotesque art and irony in my free time. Art is currently my hobby, and the purpose of this blog is to present my creative work to the public.
I graduated from an art school, participated in exhibitions, and illustrate books while combining creative work with a professional career in another field. This blog serves as my artistic portfolio and includes graphics, illustration, caricature, and humorous poetry.
The main genres of my work are caricature, humour, and illustration. I use graphic techniques, black gel pen, sanguine, chalk, graphite and coloured pencils, and occasionally watercolour. Scanned copies of my works are available online.
Languages: Ukrainian and English. Some older Russian-language texts are preserved as part of the author’s archive created before 2022.
When copying or sharing my materials, please credit the author and include an active link to the original source.
